The Lord called you to be a light, like a little star. Light is energy. The stars are intense concentrations of energy. We become lights by becoming as energy. Lights become lights by burning up fuel, wood, wax, a filament, or for a star, nuclear fuel. So in order to be a light, the light must continually turn away from matter to energy. Turn away from a life based on things, and from the flesh, and to the Spirit; to the things of heaven. Give up the things of your life. Live not by the flesh, for the way of the flesh is death. Burn up those sins in your heart, the old self, the old man, and live by the Spirit. Messiah is the Light of the world. He gave up everything He had on the cross. He became totally consumed, and by so doing, His light has filled up the world. Do likewise. He's the Light and you are a light. Every light shines by burning. Do that, and you'll become a star in the heavenly kingdom.rn
