When the Israelites were on the verge of entering the Promised Land, Moses sent 12 spies to check out the land and give a report. Ten of the spies came back with a bad report. Two of the spies came back with a good report; ten to two, or five to one. The Five-to-One Principle: For every good report you hear, you'll hear about ten bad reports. Just look at the news. The Israelites went with the ten bad reports. As a result, they lost confidence, faith, strength, and the Promised Land. They began their days of wandering in the wilderness. Years later, the only ones of that generation to enter the Promised Land were the two spies who bore the good report, Joshua and Caleb. The news is ten to two against five bad reports to one good report. If you don't want to spend the rest of your life walking in circles, you have to go with the one good report. If you want to enter the Promised Land, firmly believe the good news. It's the Gospel. For those who enter the Promised Land, it's only the good news that matters.
From Message #471 - Be ye Imperfect II
Today, the majority doesn't rule. Trust God and believe that one good report that you received and enter into the Promised Land.
