The Song of Solomon is a love song which speaks of God and us - the Bridegroom calling to the Bride. One of the most beautiful things that the Bridegroom says to the Bride is, "Koomee Lakh Raheetee Yafahtee Oolkhee - Lakh" "Arise my love, my beautiful one and come." You may recognize the first word, Koomee. It sounds like, Koom, which is what the Lord said to the little girl when he raised her from death, Talita koom, Little girl, rise. Koomee means, rise. God's will for you is not for you to fail or trip up, fall, despair or wallow in guilt and regret. God's will for you is Koomee! Rise up! He is not sitting on the sidelines with a scorecard judging how you walk as if He didn't care. No, He cares with all His heart. Rise up! Rise up from your despair, your stumbling, and your failures. Rise up from the past, your sorrows, your bondage. Rise up from years of slumber and from your falling. Follow His command and Arise!rn
