You Can't Go Overboard Enough

Peter saw the Lord from the boat and he went overboard. But was he going overboard? Not really! He was perfectly in God's will. He was stepping out in faith with his eyes on the Lord. Often, when you're about to step out in faith for God, it might look like you're going overboard. But you can't go overboard for God. Rather, it's when we put other things above God, that's when we're overboard. God, by definition, is the One you go all out for, the One you go crazy for. When our passion is not on God first, that's when we're going overboard. It's funny how people go crazy at rock concerts and jump up and down at football games, and the world thinks it's fine. But start going crazy for God and they say, "Oh, now you're going overboard." That's why the Bible says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength." In other words, step out of the boat and go all out for God. Because in God, the only way to go overboard is to not go overboard enough.rn
