The Sacred Landing Strip

Israel is the center of world controversy. The world never stops focusing on this little land the size of New Jersey. And, the issue of Jewish people in that land and in the city of Jerusalem, remains the source of global tension. Why is that? In WWII the Nazis controlled Europe. When the Allied nations vowed to liberate the continent, they had a big problem. There was no base from which to operate. On D-Day the Allied forces landed at Normandy. After a great battle, they successfully established a base. It was a beachhead, a point from which they could load their arms, weaponry, and soldiers. There is so much conflict over the nation of Israel because Israel is God's beachhead. It is His place of landing. The place from which the Kingdom will come. He landed there 2,000 years ago and He will land there again. God lands on this earth through Israel. So, pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for the Jewish people and for their land. The battle concerning it is fierce because it is nothing less than Messiah's beachhead!
