Dr. Gordon was preparing a sermon and he fell asleep. He dreamt he was preaching. A stranger in the congregation was so attentive that Dr. Gordon found himself preaching as if only to that stranger. After the service, Gordon tried to find the stranger but he was nowhere to be found. He asked the deacon, "Do you know who that man was?" The deacon replied, "It was Jesus." "How I wish I could've talked to him" Gordon said. "It's alright," said the deacon, "He'll be back next Sunday." Then, Gordon woke up, realizing that every time he preached, Jesus was there listening to every word. In the same way, whatever you do, Messiah is there listening and watching. So, do all things in a manner worthy of Messiah. Do your job as if Jesus were there - because He is. Be the husband or wife you were meant to be because Jesus is there. Messiah is in your life and whatever you do to anyone, you do it to Him. So, do everything with excellence and blessing for the one you minister to might be Him - and it is!
