Giving Preciousness

I Peter 3:7 says, "Husbands give honor to your wife." The word honor in Greek is timay. It also means preciousness. Husbands give your wife preciousness. See your wife as precious and you'll never take her for granted again. Give her timay. It's not about whether she's worthy of it or whether she's looking or even acting precious. No. Preciousness is what you're supposed to give her. Preciousness is your ministry to her. If you want a precious wife than give her the preciousness you owe her. Love her with a precious love. Treat her as a precious vessel. Forgive her with a precious mercy. And this is true for everybody. God didn't give His life to you, because you were precious and worthy of it. He gave His life to you so you'd become precious and worthy of it. His gift, His life is the timay which makes you precious. So now that you're precious in Him, give this preciousness to others. Don't treat them as they deserve. Give them the gift of timay, preciousness. And you'll be amazed to see exactly what they'll become.rn
