It's easy to get discouraged and think that evil is stronger than us in this world. But Messiah said we have power over evil, and over all the enemy's forces. The children of Israel were small and there were giants in the land. But they were given the power to drive out the giants. In Messiah, you've got the same power to cast out. Cast out in Greek, is the word ekballo, which means to throw out, dispossess, or drive out. The nature of light is to drive out darkness. You never have to accept evil or anything that's not God's will in your life. Because in Messiah, you have the power of ekballo to throw out not just evil spirits, but evil habits, thoughts, motives, or evil anything. Though there may be giants in your life, in God's will, you're more powerful. Cast them out, throw them out, evict them, and dispossess them. Replace them with the Light. Because Messiah has given you authority and powers. And one of those powers is the power of ekballo - you've got it - use your power - the power to drive it out.
