The Blessings Of My $100 Car

For years in ministry, I drove a car I purchased for $100. It had power mirrors - meaning, you could turn them if you had the power to reach them. The car radio had a search button - meaning you had to search for the button which was usually on the floor. And it was air conditioned - meaning you had air, conditioned by the fact of driving 50 miles an hour with the window open. But I was blessed to have that car for two reasons: 1) It was a gift from God, 2) It got me where I needed to go. Our circumstances are like that car. Paul said, "I've learned the secret of being content in every circumstance." Paul knew every circumstance was a gift from God, and was there to get him to the destination God had for him. It's not about whether you have a lot or a little, all your circumstances are given to you by God to get you where you need to go. So rejoice in your circumstances and you'll learn to be content in all things - as I was with my hundred dollar car.
