I worked as a security guard when I was in college. One day a car theft ring came to our parking lot. My partner and I went into action. We didn't know what we were doing but we had seen enough movies and police shows that we said, "Hold it right there. Put your hands up." The thieves thought we knew what we were doing so they surrendered. I learned something. You don't have to know what you're doing, but if you act as if you do it's amazing what you can accomplish. The Bible says, "To live as beloved children." Imagine yourself as a beloved child who grew up in heaven with perfect love, acceptance, joy, purity and holiness. What would a child of heaven do or think? What would a child of heaven desire? Think as they would think. Desire what they would desire. Live as they would. Just as I learned from making an arrest from a total bluff, there's no telling how far you can go when you don't know what you're doing, but acting as if you do. Live as beloved children of heaven and you will be.
