American Education & The Bible

Prayer and the Bible were banned from the American public school system in the early 1960s. And yet what was the reason the American school system came into existence? The reason was given at the time of its birth, in 1647, in Massachusetts. It was, "to ensure that no one be kept from the knowledge of the Scriptures." So it’s not just that the Bible was part of the American educational system - It was that the American educational system itself came into existence for the purpose of teaching the Bible. Yet today, the Bible is banned from the school system, while secular humanism and sexual immorality are taught even in the nation’s kindergartens. How could this happen? It happens one step at a time, step by step - whether for a nation or a person. Thus even a little step away from God now, can end up leading to total apostasy and destruction. Therefore, guard your steps, even better, seek that every step you take brings you one step closer to God - and you’ll never have to worry about falling away.
