Hebrews 7:11 says ""The Levitical priesthood could not bring perfection."" The word ""Levitical"" means ""From the tribe of Levi."" Leah named her third son ""Levi"" meaning ""joined,"" hoping her husband would be joined to her. The priesthood's job was to join God and man together, but Hebrews says it wasn't perfect. Leah just gave thanks to God for her fourth son, naming him ""Judah; Yehuda"

meaning ""Praise."" Messiah is from the tribe of Judah
