The Closest Generation

We are living in the last days, living in light of His coming. We are closer to the Lord's coming than any other generation of believers in history. The Lord is coming to reign as King and to judge the earth. If a Judge was coming to your house, you'd want to make sure that it was clean and in order. If the Judge's arrival were a long way off, you might be lax. But the closer the Judge's arrival, the more alert you would be. Since we are the generation chosen to be closer to the Judge's coming than any other, we need to be even more holy, sanctified and sober. Do you have things in your life that need working on? Everyone does. Just lift those things up to God and let His light come into every part of your life so nothing is in darkness. Be transparent and hide nothing. Keep nothing that you are ashamed of. The King is coming. The Judge is coming. So live in a manner worthy of Him, ready for Him. He is the Bridegroom, and He is coming for a spotless bride.
