Two Hospital Doors

Proverbs 16:11 speaks about double standards. In many hospitals, one door leads to a wing devoted to the care of unborn babies. Doctors there are devoted to prenatal care, making sure the unborn baby is healthy. They take sonograms, run tests, give counsel, and dispense medicine to make sure that unborn baby is born healthy. In another part of the same hospital, another door leads to a wing devoted to ending the unborn baby's life. Here the doctors, rooms and machines are all devoted to killing the baby. What happens to the baby all depends on which door the mother enters. Through one door the baby is protected. Through the other door the same baby could be killed. How can that be? How can the same baby's life be priceless beyond one door and worthless beyond the other? It can't be except where there are two sets of weights and values; a double standard. There is a society that has become corrupt and uses a double standard with regard to human life. But you my friend must uphold God's standards. Be a person who stands for righteousness and life, no matter how society changes.
