A Comparison: Israel & New Jersey

In 1948, at this time of year, ancient prophecy was fulfilled as Israel was raised from the dead. I'm writing these words in New Jersey. New Jersey is a tiny state with only 8,000 square miles. But did you know that New Jersey is almost the identical size as the nation of Israel? But that's where the comparison ends. God is the God of Israel. Now He also loves New Jersey, but in the Bible, He doesn't say, "I am the God of... New Jersey." If He did, then New Jersey would become the center of world attention and Israel would become... like New Jersey. What does it tell you? Stop looking at size, how much or little you have in life. If you commit your life and what you do have to God, no matter how small, then you become richer than the wealthiest and greater than the great. Then your life will become like Israel, the Promised Land... instead of New Jersey.
