THE MYSTERY BEGINS

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission...
   Last month, I told you of the release of the new book, The Altar of Pergamon. This time, I want to give you a little taste of the mystery-a colossal mystery that has altered the history of the world and touched the life of everyone living on this planet-even you.
   The Book of Revelation identifies the ancient city of Pergamon as the Throne of Satan. Embodying that throne is the Great Altar of Pergamon. When the Gospel came into the world, the altar, the Throne of Satan, was abandoned and fell into ruins. For ages, it lay buried in the dust of an ancient land. But then, a stranger stumbled upon it, and began removing the dust. And when he did that, an evil began forming in the world.
   He sent back the first pieces of the ancient altar to the land of his origin-Germany. In fact, it was the same year that the first pieces of Satan's Throne were sent to German soil that the nation of Germany came into the world. A few years later, as soon as he began digging it up to move it to Germany, something else came into the world-antisemitism through Germany. And still a few years later, just as Germany finished piecing the ancient altar back together again, something else appeared in the world-a child was born-Adolf Hitler.
   When Hitler came to power, he commissioned his architect, Albert Speer, to build him a colossal platform on which to address the masses. Speer built Hitler's podium. He made it a colossal reproduction of an ancient object-the Altar of Pergamon, the Throne of Satan.
   The Throne of Satan was an altar of burnt offerings. In the language of those who built it, Greek, the word for burnt offering is caustosholos, or holocaust. And so the Holocaust would come.
   The amazing thing is the ancient mystery of this ancient object lies behind the greatest calamities of the modern world, behind the First and Second World Wars, the rise and spread of communism, the Cold War, nuclear destruction, and the near end of the world. It even reveals a connection to an American president and the future.
   The Altar of Pergamon is available online and wherever books are sold. Please pray that God will use the mystery and the book to touch not only the saved, but also the unsaved. This week, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! And May God greatly bless you as you do!
