Do You Glow In The Dark?

Back in the sixties, there was a dayglow fad. Dayglow referred to paints that glowed in the dark. There were dayglow buttons, decals, posters, et cetera. You needed a black light to enable the objects to glow in the dark. You were cool only if your bedroom looked like the result of a radioactive meltdown. The craze eventually died down, but there was something Biblical about it. If you belong to God, you should be a dayglow person, or rather, a glow-in-the-dark person. It is written...in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world...You are to appear as a light in the world. It's not the good or easy times which best reveal who you are...but the hard times when the going gets tough, when you deal with problems, and when all hell comes against you. Anyone can have daylight love. But you are called to have dayglow love. God wants you to show the world a glow-in-the-dark love, joy, peace, hope, praise, and victory. Next time you find yourself in the dark-start glowing! It's the only cool thing to do!
