Omniscience is one of the qualities that describes God. Omniscience means all-knowing. Unfortunately, many of us think this applies to us. Why is it that we tend to think we've heard it all, seen it all, understood it all? Why is it that we think we know it all when it comes to the Lord and the things of God? The problem is that when you know it all, there's nothing left to know. So your mind, your heart, your soul is closed. And for us, that's death. It's very important not to be omniscient and not to know it all. Because then you can begin to know the awesomeness of God.
