The Set-Up For The Miracle

In the book of Judges, Gideon was about to enter into battle. Imagine his reaction when God told him; You have too many soldiers. In most cases, you're trying to increase the number of men you have in order to out-number the opponent. But God delights in going against the flow of the world and bringing victory when the odds are totally against it. In the same way, you might look at your situation and worry that it looks overwhelming. You may be the least likely person. But be blessed. You're a Gideon. And God loves to use Gideons, the most unlikely people in the most impossible circumstances, to prove Himself. Like the tomb of Messiah, it's a set up for a miracle. Just believe Him and go forward in His power. Go all out in faith. You are serving the God of the impossible and the God who goes against the odds. The God of the underdog. You will have your victory and the Lord will get all the glory, just as He did on the day of Gideon's victory.
