In Proverbs 27:7 it is written, The soul that is full tramples a honeycomb; but to the soul that is hungry, even bitter things taste sweet. Translation: When you're full, you're not hungry. You're not tempted by a honeycomb. But when you are hungry, even things that don't taste good will seem delicious. This is a profound principle to apply to your life. Throughout your life, you're going to be tempted by sin- things that seem pleasurable, but are not good for you. How do you resist? The secret is in the words, The soul that is full tramples a honeycomb. Fill yourself up with the joy of the Lord and you will be able to trample the honeycomb of temptation, impurity, adultery, immorality, and addictions. Start effectively overcoming temptation in your life. Fill yourself with God, His Spirit, and with all His good blessings. Fill yourself up until you're overflowing, then go out and trample your honeycombs.
