When someone asks you, What is the crux of the matter? They are seeking to know what the heart of the matter is; the point, the purpose, the main thing, the bottom line, the thing that really matters and what everything else is centered around. What does the word crux really mean? Crux is Latin. It means cross. So what is the crux of your life? The crux of your life has to be the cross. In other words, the purpose and point of your life is found in the cross. The only way you will find a reason and real purpose to your life is through the crux of the cross. The cross is the crux and the crux is the center. Center your life on the cross. That's what your life is all about. Make the cross the crux of your life; the center, the purpose, the heart and what your life is all about. And everything else will fall into place because the cross happens to be the crux. And that is the crux of the matter and your life. rn
