Live As A Lion

The Hebrew word for lion is ari. Most of us have seen The Wizard of Oz, and one of the most memorable characters is the Cowardly Lion. It was meant to be ironic. A lion is known for being courageous, afraid of nothing. In the Scripture, God is called a Lion. Messiah is called the Lion of Judah. God is a Lion because He's King of the Universe. There's no stronger power. Nothing and no one makes Him afraid. If you're born again, you're a child of God, and you're to be a little version of Messiah on earth. If God and Messiah are Lions, then you're to be a little lion. Many believers go through their lives much like cowardly lions, led by fears, instead of by the Spirit. Is that sometimes you? The Cowardly Lion we all watched in the Wizard of Oz was a pathetic creature. Don't let that be you. Rise up by the Spirit of God and start living in victory. For you were born again to be a lion, and not a cowardly one.rn
