It's a Jewish tradition to sing Hallels, songs of praise, at every Passover Seder. The Hallels can be found between Psalm 113-118. The greatest Hallel, and the one used to end the Seder, is Psalm 118. What's amazing is at the end of the Last Supper Messiah would have sung this same Psalm before going to the Mount of Olives. The occasion is recorded in Matthew 26:30. He sang a song of praise before his suffering and death. Listen to the actual words he sang, The stone which the builders rejected has become the Chief Cornerstone. This is the Lord's doing, it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.... Oh Lord, Save us...Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord... The Lord...has given us light.... Bind the festival sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. It's all about His sacrifice. If Messiah could sing at such a time of fiery trial how much more should you lift your voice to praise God in all things. rn

Whatever you're going through today, good or bad, turn it into a song of praise to the Lord. (It's okay to sing out of key.) rn
