The Omens Of Jerome And The Rabbis

The New Testament records that when Messiah died, there was an earthquake and the veil of the Temple was torn. But, the early church writer, Jerome, relays that when the veil was torn, the huge lintel of the temple was also broken. The lintel was an enormous stone, 30 feet long and weighing 30 tons. This goes perfectly together with the testimony of the rabbis who record in the Talmud that around the year 30 A.D., strange things began happening in the Temple of Jerusalem, including the testimony that the doors of the Temple would open by themselves. The Gospel, the church fathers and the rabbis all bear witness together that when Messiah died, the way was opened up to God, all around the year 30 A.D. The barrier was removed. Whatever problem or barrier you're dealing with, take courage. There's always a way. Messiah is the one who makes a way. Even rabbis and church fathers agree.
