People spend much of their time dwelling on problems, but problems are great fuel for a powerful prayer life. Troubles, problems and crises are great natural resources when converted into prayer. Don't let your problems just be problems, convert them. In Hebrew, one of the words for prayer or worship is to give in marriage, as you would give a bride in marriage. So one of the keys of worship and prayer is to marry your problems, your sins and your worries to God. Then, let your problem go, just as a father must let go of the bride. It is now married to God. Marry your past, your shame, your guilt and your secret things. Bring it down the aisle and give it to God. He came down to earth to be joined to all your sins. Take your problems and convert them into prayer. Take your troubles and lead them down the aisle, because your troubles and your problems were meant to be married and you were meant to be free. rn
