The bridegroom, the Khatan means literally, the one who joins himself, marries himself, covenants himself, or who gives himself away. The Lord is the Khatan, the One who gave His life away on the cross. It means you don't have to worry about God rejecting you or being through with you for all the times you messed up. You don't even have to convince God to love you or draw near to you, because God is the Khatan. It's already His nature to love you and join Himself to you as He joined Himself to you on the cross.
