Imagine you're on the Titanic. It's Sunday morning, the day of the ship's sinking. And you know it in advance. People are eating and talking about things of no significance. You watch it all and want to wake them up and say, Stop! Don't you know it's going to sink? Stop wasting your time and get ready so you don't perish! You don't have to imagine it's you, because it is you. You are on the Titanic. This whole life is the Titanic. Everyone in this life will sink, and die, and then comes judgment and eternity. Around you, people are getting lost in the diversions and details of this life and they're sinking. If you had the chance to save the Titanic and to say something that day, would you? Really? Then what are you doing about it now? Is it any less wrong for you to withhold sharing the Gospel with those perishing now, than to withhold what you knew on the Titanic? Tell the Gospel to everybody. Share it, proclaim it, bring them in - for the Titanic is real and you are on it.rn
