The Repentance Life

Proverbs 16:17 reads, The highway of the upright is to depart from evil. People think that when you get saved, you repent and that's it. What it's saying here is something very different. It's not that you repent once. Rather, repentance is a road, and a way of life. It's a life that has a heart and attitude of repentance. The problem with most believers is that repentance is just a one time thing. This isn't biblical. Ultimately, your repentance is the life you live. Paul didn't just repent once from his former life. His entire walk with God was his repentance, his sweet debt of love to the Lord who forgave him. Just like the woman who would have been stoned for adultery but was forgiven. The rest of her life is her repentance. You, too should live with a heart of repentance, constantly changing more and more away from sin. Make your life your gift of love to your Redeemer, the one who says ... Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more. Your life will be a highway of repentance and of righteousness. rn
