Magic, Magi, And Miracles

When you were young, chances are you believed in magic: magic wands, magic kisses, and magic powers. As we get older, we lose our belief in magical things. That's good, because the magic we were raised on is all illusion. Yet, there's something more to it. Messiah said that in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, we must become like little children. One of the qualities of little children, is they believe and hope for miracles. As little children, believing in fairy godmothers and magic powers was our way of yearning for something better. In fact, the word magic comes from the word, magi. The magis were people who never stopped seeking for God and His miracle of new life. As they kept hoping and seeking for something better, they left their magic to find the miracle of miracles waiting for them in a feeding trough in Bethlehem. It's about the Lord. No matter how many times your hopes have been crushed, and your heart broken, never stop hoping and opening your heart... put your hope in Him in who is the light and the glory and all magic is only a shadow.rn
