Martin Luther And The Nazis

Martin Luther did great things in leading many back to the Word. But at the end of his life, he became embittered with the Jews. He wrote a tract called, Concerning the Jews and Their Lies. In it, he wrote: "Their synagogues and their churches should be set on fire and whatever doesn't burn up should be covered and spread over with dirt, and this should be done for the honor of the God of Christianity in order that God may see that we are Christians." His writings were later used by the Nazis, who launched Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass," destroying Jewish homes and synagogues in honor of Luther's birthday. Luther did great things, but he left a door open for the enemy. And the devil is always looking to use anyone he can. He will look for any gap of bitterness, jealousy, frustration, unforgiveness and lust to get a foothold. And if he gets it, he'll use it to bring destruction. Don't give it to him. Close up all the gaps and you will be used mightily for the Kingdom of God. rn
