My Job Interview Strategy

After graduating from college, I began going for job interviews. It was in the middle of a deep recession and there were few openings. While in the waiting room for the next interview, I decided to change my strategy. I wouldn't go in seeking to get a job, but instead to witness to the job interviewer. I would be an evangelist to job interviewers. So I went into the office and a man interviewed me. When he asked me what experience I had that qualified me for the job, I told him, none. And then I started sharing my faith. It was the worst interview of my life. The next day, I received a phone call telling me I got the job! We're not here on earth to receive, or to be dependent on receiving from man. We have one purpose - to give the gospel and God's love. That's what happened with me that day. By seeking to give rather than to receive, everything else was added to me. Do the same. In every situation you find yourself, remember you're not here to get, but to give. So give. rn
