I was at a family gathering, talking with my great uncle Jack. He was now old and was losing his memory. "Who are you?" he asked, "Your nephew. Do you know me?" He said, "No." I was discouraged. But then he looked at me and said, "I don't have to know you. I like you. You're a good man." There was no memory, but there was love. It is the same with God. When it comes to your sin, God also has a poor memory. He chooses to forget. So in Isaiah 43:25, he states, "I, even I am He that blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins." When it comes to our sins, thank God that He has chosen to have a poor memory. In the blood of Messiah, He forgets. If God is perfect, and has a poor memory for sin, then part of your becoming perfect is also to cultivate a poor memory when it comes to sin. By the grace of God let go, forget, and be blessed. It all begins, when you start developing a lousy memory.rn

Today, choose to forget any sin, any hurt, any wound, any guilt, any offense, anything that God doesn't want you to remember. rn
