The Anointed Ear

The Priests of Israel were called to minister. In order to minister, they had to anoint their ears with the blood of the sacrifice. So, those who serve God have to have holy ears. The Bible says that you are a royal priesthood. That means if you're going to fulfill your calling, you have to have anointed, holy ears. Whatever comes into them has to be holy - thus no words of death, doubt, gossip, impurity, or hate. This also applies to the words you let into your heart, your mind, your memory, and the things that you dwell on. Whatever thoughts are not of life or goodness or purity, you must reject. Whatever is pure, good, excellent and beautiful, you must allow to dwell in your heart. The ears of the Priest must be anointed in order for him to fulfill his calling. So with you, to fulfill your calling and your purpose in God, guard and anoint what comes into your hearing, into your mind, and into your heart because you become what you receive. The ears of God's Priest must always be holy. rn
