Ancient Israel left the pages of history in 70 A.D. with the destruction of Jerusalem. Nineteen centuries later in 1948, Jerusalem appeared again. It left history in the age of Roman soldiers and was resurrected in the world of Harry Truman, Gandhi, Joseph Stalin, and the Ed Sullivan show. If you didn't know God's word, the rebirth of Israel would seem to be a natural historical event. However, in that natural world God was bringing His ancient prophecies to pass. In the same way, when you look at your life, most of the time it seems ordinary and natural. But, if you look beneath the surface, it's supernatural! God is working all things together for His purposes and for your good. You don't have to see it. The fact is, when Israel was coming back most people didn't realize what was happening. Trust God with your life. Keep following Him with all your heart and soul and He will work His supernatural purposes no matter what the natural looks like. God is working in your life - and in that respect, your life is as miraculous as Jerusalem in 1948!rn
