The Latter Rains Of Your Life

In Israel, there are two famous rains noted in the Bible. One is called the Moreh, the former rain; the other is the Malkosh, the latter rain. In the Book of Joel, the Lord speaks about another outpouring: I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. The Spirit is often spoken of in terms of water, so there's a link between the outpouring of rain and outpouring of the Spirit. God poured out His Spirit on Israel 2,000 years ago on the day of Pentecost, the Hebrew Feast of Shavuot. The last days will also be characterized by the outpouring of God's Spirit. The Jewish people are returning to Messiah as the Spirit of God is being poured out on the nations. So pray for the salvation of the Jewish people because as they come, the rains come. So it is with you. The Lord poured His Spirit on you in the early days of your walk, but He always has more - more of the Spirit, more to be poured out. God doesn't just have one rain, just one outpouring. He's got something more. Seek it. rn
