It's All a Vacation

Imagine you are in the middle of the ocean, shipwrecked for days. You are in a storm, in the dark, the waves are treacherous and you can barely hang on. Water is getting in your lungs and your life is about to be finished. All of a sudden a hand reaches out and pulls you up on a ship and you are saved. You're soaking wet when somebody comes over to you and tells you that there are unpaid bills in your house, your stock account is about to plunge, and you lost your job. Are you going to get upset? Maybe you would before, but now you couldn't care less. You have just been saved from death. That is exactly how it is to be saved from sin. You haven't just been saved from death. You have been saved from hell. Are you still getting upset over worries, money matters, etc.? After hell, everything else is a vacation. Even your biggest problem - in light of the big picture and in light of eternity - is just a vacation.rn
