The Shalom Master

One of the most famous names given to Messiah (Jesus) is that of Prince of Peace. You see it on Christmas cards, on Christian posters, and you hear it in the Hallelujah Chorus of Handel's Messiah. But in Hebrew, the title is Sar Shalom. Sar doesn't just mean prince but master and ruler. And Shalom doesn't just mean peace, but wholeness, wellness, completion, and fullness. So Messiah is not just the Prince of Peace. He's also the Master of Wholeness, the Ruler of Wellness, the Master of Fullness, and the Shalom Master. If you want to know the peace of Messiah, then you have to make Him the Lord over every area of your life. When the Master of Shalom becomes the Master of every part of your life, then every part of your life will be ruled by shalom, fullness, wholeness, peace, and completion. So it is written, Let the peace of Messiah rule in your heart. For the one who will have peace is the one who is ruled by the Shalom Master.rn
