Things and Their Gravity

Gravity has to do with the earth and planets but it is more than that. Everything has gravity, every object: a book, a pencil, even you have gravity. Every object exerts gravitational force. Everything pulls. So, too, there is a spiritual gravity. When you get wrapped up in things, your mind and your heart get pulled down. You get weighed down. You worry. It consumes your thoughts. Messiah said, "Come to me, you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest... My yoke is easy and my burden is light." Unload your burdens and you will get rid of all that gravity weighing you down. Thus it is written, "Cast your anxieties upon Him." He took all of your sins and your burdens on the cross. But you have to give them to Him. Let go and give up your ownership of the things that burden you. Without the burdens, there is no gravity. And without gravity, there's nothing holding you down. Give up all things for Him and your heart will become light and your life, gravity free!rn
