Terrible But Great

Are you going through a trial? Someone asks, How are you? You say, I'm terrible. There's some truth to that. But it's not the whole story. The Hebrews went through the wilderness for forty years to make it to the Promised Land. And as they neared the end, the Lord, speaking through Moses, called it the Great and Terrible Wilderness. Most believers could call their wildernesses terrible - but few would call them great. But herein is a beautiful truth. The wilderness you go through in the Lord might feel terrible, but it's also wonderful. Every trial in your life in God has a great purpose. But you have to keep going to see it. The wilderness may seem terrible - and yet it's leading to the Promised Land which is great. If you didn't have a great purpose in your life, you wouldn't have a wilderness. Every wilderness in God leads to a Promised Land. Remember that no matter how terrible you think that thing you're going through is, it will lead you through your wilderness that's not just terrible - but also great!rn
