When you read the Bible, did you ever realize that no one in the Bible has a last name? There was no Barnabas Schwartz, or Nebuchadnezzar Rosenberg. Those that were given second names reflected their character and life. For example, Simon Peter means Shimon the Rock. Joseph Barnabas means Joseph, the Son of Encouragement. Simon the Zealot means, James the Just. Even Mary Magdalene really means Myriam of Magdala. What biblical surname would those who know you give to you? Then ask yourself what name will you enter eternity with? Will it be John the Joyful, or John Who Never Really Cared, or Susan the Selfish, or Susan the Loving? Will it be Bob the Man of Faith and Courage, or Bob the Man Who Never Did What Was Right? What second name would reflect your character and life? If you don't want to go into eternity with it, you can change it by virtue of a changed life. So, what will your biblical surname be? It's time to decide.rn
