Messiah is the Lord of the Sabbath. We are called to enter His Sabbath. How? There's a secret that comes with the Sabbath's first appearance in Scripture - in the days of creation. How did God enter the first Sabbath? He entered it after creating the universe. The creation was the will of God. So God entered the Sabbath after doing the will of God. There is a connection here. If you want the peace and blessings of the Sabbath, you need to have your life in the will of God. If you don't have peace, ask yourself if your heart is really in God's will. Then, do whatever you have to do to get into His will: repent of that sin, apologize to that person you offended, get rid of that habit or indulgence that has no place in your life, fulfill an obligation, express love, serve in the ministry, share the Gospel, give to the kingdom, spend time in prayer and the Spirit. Get into the will of God, and after having done this, you will have the peace of His Sabbath.rn
