The After Blowing-It Covenant

God made a Covenant with Israel in Sinai. But then He gave this word to Jeremiah: "...I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the one I made with them when I took them by the hand out of Egypt. That covenant they broke..." The First Covenant was broken, so God made a Second Covenant. Thus the New Covenant is the covenant of the second chance. But what happens if you break the Second Covenant? There is no third. For no matter how many second chances you need, they're all there in the Second Covenant - the Covenant of Second Chances. You may have blown your first chance - but now you're in the New Covenant, the Second Covenant. It's not for those who were perfect, but for the broken, for those who blew it, and sometimes blow it again. So, be blessed, today is a new day and His mercies are new each day. For by Messiah's death we have been given the Second Covenant - the Covenant for all who needed (and who still need) a second chance. rn
