Your Car vs. Your Heart

Our lives are filled with machines and, ultimately, they all break down. Think about how many times you've had to bring your car to the repair shop. Most cars don't go beyond two years because they all break down; they're machines. But, think about this: Your heart is a machine and it's been working without breaking down. It's been working from your conception until this very moment. What does that tell you? It tells you that you are a real piece of work! The Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God put so much into you to keep your heart beating from when you were a baby to your adulthood. It beat through every moment of your joys and tears and never once stopped. How much more do you have to treat your life as something precious? God has a purpose for your life. He invested so much in you that you now need to bless Him back. He gave you the gift of life; now give Him the gift of your full devotion. Press on in His path and don't ever stop, because your heart never has. rn
