The Lost Tribes of Israel refers to the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom that were destroyed by Assyria in 722 BC. Assyrian records speak of the people of Naphtali being placed on the border with Media. Just beyond that border today is Uzbekistan and the city of Bukhara. Benjamin Tudela was a 12th century traveler who confirmed in his writings that there was a Hebrew tribe dwelling there that claimed to be one of the Lost Tribes. A 19th century British missionary and explorer also confirmed that there was a tribe in Bukhara that identified itself with one of the Lost Tribes. The Book of Revelation says that 144,000 from the tribes will appear in the last days. That number includes the Lost Tribes. If God can take the Lost Tribes of Israel and make them un-lost, then there's nothing in your life that God can't redeem. Don't ever give up on your situation, your walk, your life, or that person you care about. If God can make the Lost Tribes unlost, then for all the unsaved in your life there remains the hope of becoming unlost. rn
