Tzemach, He Who Grows

One of the words for Messiah in Hebrew scripture is the word, Tzemach. It literally means, he who sprouts up and, he who grows. If Messiah is the Tzemach, and He comes into your life, then His life and presence have to be growing within your life. If He's not growing in you, it doesn't work - for he's the Tzemach. You can't remain the same in God. It will never work if you stop growing or become static. The Tzemach must grow. If you stop growing, you'll start withering. Let the Tzemach, Messiah's presence grow. Let His love, faith, hope and your peace in Him grow. Let the Spirit in you grow, and also your Godliness. Always be growing. Open your heart so that it becomes a Tzemach heart - a heart that's open to growth. Open your life to live a Tzemach life - a life that grows. Let Messiah become bigger in your heart than He was a week ago. Be more and more filled by Him. Let Him be magnified in you. Because He's the Tzemach and the Tzemach has to grow.
