Fighting The Antichrist's Spell

Daniel prophesied about Antiochus Epiphanes. Antiochus, in the story of Chanukah, is a foreshadow of the antichrist. Antiochus changed tradition, made people forget God's law, set up an idol in the Temple and desecrated the sanctuary. The antichrist will do the same thing. He will seek to make people forget the ways and knowledge of God. So as we get closer to the arrival of the antichrist, we can see that the spirit of antichrist is already working. End-time culture will want to make people forget the Gospel. In the days of Chanukah, the people who remained faithful had to hold onto the Word of God no matter what. We must do the same! In these days when there is tremendous pressure to make you forget God's truth, His righteousness and His purity, you as a child of God must remember the Word of God. Spend more time in His presence and in doing His calling on your life. God promised that He will never forget you. You must do the same. rn
