The following is a list of sinful, evil or Godless people: the Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan, Communist Radicals, prostitutes, thieves, murderers, drug dealers, and alcoholics. What do they all have in common beyond sin? None of them are joyful. You don't associate joy with Nazis, or the KKK, or thieves, or drug dealers. There might be some thrills or a moment of pleasure, but in the end, there is no joy. Criminals, terrorists, and haters aren't known for joy. This confirms the Word of God. Sin and joy do not go together. But righteousness, God's Will, and joy do go together. The fruit of the Spirit is joy. Joy is the consequence of righteousness. In Hebrew, the word Asher is rooted in the words straight or right. It also means joyful and blessed. Righteousness, and the road that is straight leads to joy. In the end, righteousness fills you with joy. A life of sin is a life of misery. Put away that sin and take up a mantle of a life of righteousness. It is good, good for you, and you will be happy you did.rn
