In the Koran, Sirach 61 says, You who believe, be Allah's helpers, even as Jesus the son of Man said to the disciples. Then we strengthen those who believe, the disciples against their enemies, so that they became uppermost. According to the Koran, God strengthened the disciples to have victory against those who came against them. The disciples preached the Gospel of Messiah: the resurrection. The Koran, while denying the resurrection, is saying that God strengthened the disciples as they preached the resurrection. It unwittingly affirms the resurrection. The Koran calls the message of the apostles, The Ingel, an Arabic version of the Greek evangel or Gospel. Gospel means Good News. So, again the Koran is affirming that there is Good News. Now, if the Koran affirms the resurrection while denying it, how about you? Are you affirming the resurrection and bearing witness of it? Do people see a spirit of joy and victory in your life? If not, start showing it, because if the Koran testifies of it, you need to testify to it. Because you are called to be a much better witness than the Koran. rn
