In Hebrew, work and worship are one and the same. Avodah is the Hebrew word for work and worship. Worship takes work and our work should always be worship. The Bible says that what you do, do it for the Lord. When you work, you must do it with all your heart. If you don't, then it's like committing a crime. When you are not giving all of your effort to your work, you're stealing from the people who employ you or the people whom you serve. So, when you agree to do a job, you must do it without pretense or distraction because when you give less than 100%, you are stealing from those you serve and from God. As a believer, you should be the best worker. If you're not, you rob not only your employer but yourself. Only when you do something wholeheartedly, do you do it freely. When you do things halfheartedly, you're in bondage. But, when you start doing your job wholeheartedly to God, your work will become worship - because work in Hebrew is avodah.rn

Turn your work into worship today. Take at least one daily task where you are not giving 100% of your effort and do it wholeheartedly as unto the Lord.rn
