In Acts 5:15, it says, "As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by...and all of them were healed." The word for shadow in Hebrew is tselal This is an amazing picture. We don't know where they got it in their head to wait for Peter's shadow to pass by and touch them, but they did...and it worked. They were healed through a healing shadow. A shadow is the absence of light, the image of something not there, a kind of emptiness. Yet, God used a shadow to bring healing and life. Our healing often comes through having not. Maybe you've lost something or someone you loved; you feel empty. You see no blessing at all. In God's kingdom, He anoints shadows to bring healing, life, hope, and joy. Most likely, you came to the Lord because of a shadow, an emptiness that led you closer to Him. So whatever you feel is missing in your life, let it lead you closer to the Lord's presence. Let the shadow bring you healing. rn
